3.6 To moderate content, investigate reported content or conduct, and enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

3.7 To respond to your support requests, questions, and feedback.

3.8 To perform internal analytics, monitor usage trends, conduct research, and improve the overall performance and user experience of the platform.

3.9 To detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent activity, unauthorized access, abuse of the platform, and other security threats.

3.10 To comply with applicable legal obligations, regulatory requirements, and enforceable governmental requests.

3.11 To fulfill any other specific purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection, or for which you have provided your explicit consent.

4.1 Contractual Necessity. Processing is necessary to perform our contract with you — specifically, to provide you with access to and use of the JustScribes.com platform and its services as described in our Terms of Service.

4.2 Legitimate Interests. Processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, including but not limited to maintaining platform security, preventing fraud and abuse, improving platform features, and understanding how users interact with the platform, provided such interests are not overridden by your fundamental rights and freedoms.

4.3 Consent. Where required by law, we rely on your express consent as the legal basis for processing, including for sending optional marketing and newsletter communications and for processing any optional sensitive information (such as faith background) that you voluntarily provide. 7.1 JustScribes.com is intentionally and explicitly a Christian faith-based platform. As part of your participation in the community, you may voluntarily share information relating to your faith, religious beliefs, denominational background, prayer requests, or spiritual experiences through your profile, written content, forum participation, or other interactions on the platform.

7.2 Any faith-related or religiously sensitive information you choose to share is treated with the utmost care and respect. Such information is not used for commercial advertising profiling, behavioral targeting, or sold to any third party under any circumstances.

7.3 The disclosure of faith-related information on JustScribes.com is entirely voluntary. Users control what faith-related information appears on their profile and in their content. You may update, edit, or remove such information from your profile at any time through your account settings. Removal of posted content may be subject to the content retention provisions of Section 8 of this Policy.

7.4 JustScribes.com may use aggregated and fully anonymized faith-interest data — in which no individual user can be identified — solely for the purpose of improving community features, curating platform content, and understanding the interests of our community as a whole.

7.5 To the extent that any applicable law (including GDPR Article 9) classifies religious or philosophical beliefs as a special category of personal data, we process such data only where you have provided your explicit consent by voluntarily sharing it on the platform, or where another lawful basis under applicable law applies.

8.1 We retain your personal information for as long as your account remains active, or for as long as is necessary to provide you with the services you have requested, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

8.4 Backup data, server logs, and security-related records may be retained for a limited additional period as required for platform integrity, security investigation, and business continuity purposes, after which they will be purged in accordance with our internal data retention schedule.

8.5 Information that we are required by law to retain will be held for the period mandated by applicable law, even if your account has been closed or deleted.

9.1 We implement industry-standard technical, administrative, and physical security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. 10.2 If we become aware or have reason to believe that we have collected personal information from a child under the age of 13 without the requisite parental consent, we will take prompt steps to delete such information from our systems and, where applicable, terminate the associated account.

10.4 Users between the ages of thirteen (13) and seventeen (17) (“Minors”) may use JustScribes.com only with the consent and active supervision of a parent or legal guardian, in accordance with the Terms of Service. By registering an account or accessing the platform, a Minor represents that they have obtained such consent. We encourage parents and guardians to be actively involved in their Minor children’s online activities and to review this Policy together with them.
